Dick Barry at the "Magic Castle"

Dick has worked every room in the Magic Castle,
has performed on the best cruise ships, and is
lecturing about magic all around the country.
During his magic shows Dick has worked
with a number of interesting people.
Here are a few of them.

Doug Henning Here's Doug Henning doing my Goldfish illusion (see Great Magic).
I had created my Champagne Goldfish Miracle illusion and, in one of my GENII Magazine ads, I added a brief footnote to Doug pointing out how great this would look in his next TV special.You guessed it: Doug used my illusion on his network TV show! Since then many variations have been done by such performers as Siegfried and Roy, and other top flight magicians.

Seinfeld Jerry Seinfeld is a very funny guy. We worked together on the same benefit show (both Jerry and I were younger then).

Steve Allen Here I am working with Steve Allen, and what a nice guy he is.

Sinatra Frank Sinatra, Jr. shook my hand and told me how much he liked my magic.

Dai Vernon In GENII magazine Dai Vernon wrote: "Just last night I watched Dick Barry whom I hadn't seen since last year. He does a really sparkling show. Every detail is worked out and he really puzzles many of the full-time professionals. Dick tells me he may put his tape recorder effect on the market. If he does, I cannot think of a more valuable effect to add to any type of performance, mental or standard."
Dai Vernon was the greatest, and I consider myself fortunate to have known him as a friend.The "tape recorder effect" is called Clairvoyant Cassette.
